About Ellen

Before working at Altair, Ellen was the Hub Coordinator at Community Led Housing London, where she led on communications and financial admin for the organisation. This experience provided her with an understanding of how housing co-operatives, community land trusts and cohousing groups operate in the UK and the future role they may play in the diversification of the British housing market.

Ellen’s interest in affordable housing was sparked during her time researching the environmental and economic sustainability of the Tiny House Movement in the UK as part of her undergraduate degree. Her recent experience working as the Hub Coordinator at Community Led Housing London has furthered this understanding and has exposed her to a wide range of community led housing projects across London.

Prior to this, Ellen developed her communication skills working as an administrative officer at the NHS. She also has a strong interest in environmental issues and has previously gained experience supporting the implementation of sustainable practices into a workforce.
